Session cookie

A session cookie is set when you visit Baromio. It stores your login state, language preference, and the CSRF token needed to protect form submissions. This cookie is deleted when you close your browser or log out.

CSRF protection

Laravel's CSRF protection sets an XSRF-TOKEN cookie on each page load. This token is used to verify that requests originate from Baromio and not from a third-party site. It is required for all form submissions and API requests made from the browser.

Analytics cookies

With your consent, Baromio uses Google Analytics, running in Google's Consent Mode, to understand how the product is used and improve it. These cookies are not set until you click Accept in the cookie banner, and you can withdraw your consent at any time from this page.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the service. Baromio does not provide an opt-out for essential cookies because they are strictly necessary for the application to function.
