Baromio uses only essential cookies required for the service to function. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies of any kind.

Session cookie

A session cookie is set when you visit Baromio. It stores your login state, language preference, and the CSRF token needed to protect form submissions. This cookie is deleted when you close your browser or log out.

CSRF protection

Laravel's CSRF protection sets an XSRF-TOKEN cookie on each page load. This token is used to verify that requests originate from Baromio and not from a third-party site. It is required for all form submissions and API requests made from the browser.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the service. Baromio does not provide an opt-out for essential cookies because they are strictly necessary for the application to function.
